We Review the Universal Steel Over-Cab Truck Ladder Rack

We recently tested the Elevate Outdoor UPUT-Rack-V2 Universal Steel Over-Cab Truck Ladder Rack and were impressed by its robust construction. This steel rack boasts an 800-pound capacity, which we found more than sufficient for our contracting needs. What caught our attention was its adjustable width design, allowing it to fit various truck bed sizes without complicated modifications.

During installation, we appreciated the over-cab configuration that maximizes hauling space while maintaining accessibility. The rack’s stability was evident when we loaded it with ladders and lumber for our test drive.

The powder-coated finish suggests good durability against the elements, though we’ll need more time to evaluate long-term weather resistance.
