We Tested VEVOR’s Versatile 800lb Truck Rack: Worth It?
After two weeks of hauling everything from kayaks to lumber with the VEVOR Extendable Steel Truck Ladder Rack, we’re impressed with its versatility. The no-drill installation saved us valuable time, and we had it securely mounted in under an hour. While adjusting the width from 46 to 71 inches was straightforward, we did notice the locking mechanisms required periodic tightening during heavy use. The 800-pound capacity proved reliable-we loaded it with multiple ladders and construction materials without any concerning flex or strain. We particularly appreciated the powder-coated finish that has so far resisted scratches and rust despite some rough treatment. For contractors or weekend warriors needing flexible hauling options, this rack delivers solid performance at a reasonable price point.
