Our Review: Slimline II Roof Rack for Defender 90
Our Review: Slimline II Roof Rack for Defender 90
We recently got our hands on the Front Runner Roof Rack Kit designed specifically for the Land Rover New Defender 90, and we're impressed with what this Slimline II Contour system brings to the table. The low-profile design maintains the Defender's sleek silhouette while adding substantial carrying capacity for our off-road adventures.
What we particularly appreciate is how the rack integrates with the vehicle's existing mounting points, ensuring a secure fit without any drilling. The aluminum construction strikes an excellent balance between durability and weight, which is crucial for maintaining your vehicle's center of gravity on challenging terrain.
Installation was straightforward, though we'd recommend having an extra pair of hands to help position it correctly. The modular design allows for extensive customization with Front Runner's wide range of accessories, making this roof rack an excellent foundation for building out your perfect overlanding setup.

Our Take on Snailfly’s Robust Crossbars for Kia Telluride
Our Take on Snailfly's Robust Crossbars for Kia Telluride
We recently tested the Snailfly Upgraded Roof Rack Cross Bars designed for 2019-2025 Kia Telluride models, and we're impressed with their performance. These lockable crossbars provide a secure mounting solution for all your adventure gear, whether you're hauling kayaks, bikes, or ski equipment.
What caught our attention was the straightforward installation process-no drilling required. The bars fit perfectly on our Telluride EX tester, with a solid aluminum construction that feels built to last. We appreciate the aerodynamic design that minimized wind noise even at highway speeds.
The locking mechanism gives us peace of mind when parking in public areas, and the 150-pound load capacity easily handled our weekend camping gear. Just note these won't fit the X-Line or X-Pro trims, so check your specific model before purchasing.

We Tested the ROCKBROS Suction Bike Roof Rack: Worth It?
We Tested the ROCKBROS Suction Bike Roof Rack: Worth It?
In our recent testing of the ROCKBROS Sucker Bike Rack, we were impressed by how quickly this suction cup system installs on virtually any car roof. The aluminum alloy construction strikes a nice balance between durability and lightweight design. We particularly appreciated the quick-release mechanism, which made loading and unloading our bike a breeze compared to traditional rack systems.
During our highway test, the suction cups maintained their grip admirably, though we did check them periodically on longer journeys as a precaution. The rack accommodates one bicycle securely, and we found the absence of permanent fixings to be a major advantage for those of us who don't want to modify our vehicles with permanent hardware.
Overall, this ROCKBROS rack offers an interesting solution for cyclists who need occasional transport flexibility.
